ARGO TRAVEL GROUP is pleased to announce that it has successfully participated in two pivotal events in the Asia-Pacific region this month, namely LUXPERIENCE in Sydney, Australia (Oct 7-10) and ITB Asia in Singapore (Oct 16-18).
Both exhibitions were part of ARGO’s annual Marketing plan that entails the participation in no fewer than 18 international shows all over the world in an effort to service most major markets, to enhance existing partnerships and to develop new promising ones.
In reference to LUXPERIENCE, ARGO TRAVEL GROUP had the opportunity to present the high-end products and services of its dedicated Luxury Travel Department, ARGO Platinum, that offers bespoke personalized itineraries and concierge services to visitors who seek uniquely luxurious experiences. ARGO also inaugurated its brand new Cultural, Religious and Educational Tourism Programs to the Australian market, offered in collaboration with the University of Athens. Traces of Greece, the Group’s dedicated Cultural Tourism Department, offers Short Courses and Featured Vacations especially designed for the international academic community and the culturally desirous traveler.
ARGO’s participation at LUXPERIENCE also confirmed the Australian market’s potential that has been seeing strong growth for Greece over the past couple of years both in arrivals and per capita spending of the Australian visitors. Australia is indeed a market of healthy consumers in search of unique experiences, and “it is our duty to identify the Australian travelers’ intricate requirements and therefore to design services and products to meet them at the highest level” as our Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Stratis Voursoukis, stated at the local Media.
ITB Asia on the other hand saw a booming interest for destination Greece and ARGO’s products from some of the less explored markets of the region, namely Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. We have strong reason to believe that arrivals from these promising markets will steadily grow over the following years thus opening destination Greece to more high spending visitors from the Asia Pacific.
